March 7, 2020 marked The Balancing Effect's inaugural A Toast to Women event in partnership with The Park Cafe. Each year, The Balancing Effect and The Park Cafe will continue to partner to bring you A Toast to Women in honor of International Women’s Day!
This cocktail-attire event complete with food, drink, live entertainment, and a silent auction full of self-care goods and services from local artisans and entrepreneurs benefits WREN, The Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network of South Carolina, whose mission is to build a movement to advance the health, economic well-being, and rights of South Carolina’s women, girls, and their families. The Balancing Effect, The Park Cafe, & WREN were able to raise $1,000 for the Women’s Rights & Empowerment Network at our very first A Toast to Women event!!! We hope this contribution helps WREN with their mission to advocate for women everywhere. We can’t wait to beat this number at next year’s event!
