Local Love Gift Guide

This holiday season, rather than sharing the best deals or coziest finds for your loved ones, I thought it'd be nice to shed some light on some of the incredible local artisans and business owners in the Charleston community! I'm sure you've seen the quote that says, "Every time you support a small business, an actual person does a happy dance."  Well, it's true. Every time an order for a True North Planner hits my inbox, I jump for joy knowing that someone chose to spend their hard-earned money on MY product. It makes me so happy knowing that something I created with my whole heart and soul is going to bring someone else joy. 

Below are a few of my favorite local artisans and businesses to support. When shopping for loved ones this holiday season, I encourage you to shop small and give back to your community! These people work their tooshies off to provide you with the best products and services possible. Enjoy!

Hart Hagerty

Hart makes beautifully crafted statement jewelry that will take your outfit to the next level. I personally have these disco earrings and love to spice up an outfit with them. I always get so many compliments! Shop her products here.

I absolutely adore Beau & Ro by Sara Rossi and am so excited that she has just opened her first flagship store in Charleston! This brand is known for their stunning handbags and earrings. Jenn is such a talented artist and has such a knack for capturing moments. We hired her to do a custom painting at our wedding and are so in love with it. Her recent release is a captivating collection of waves. Shop her work here.

How much do I love Teil Duncan? Let me count the ways. I haven't come across a single piece of her work I didn't want to immediately bring home. This beauty seen above can be found in our bedroom at home. Shop her work here.

Blakey doesn't know this, but I especially admire her because we're from the same graduating class at CofC and I am in awe of how much she's crushing it as an artist. Her water inspired work is the perfect edition to any seaside home! Shop her work here.

If you really know me, you know how much I love Rewind Candles. This locally created candle is constantly burning in my home, and their scents are to die for. My little yogi heart will always belong to Beth and her team at Charleston Power Yoga. This place is where I completed my yoga teacher training in 2016 and it's where I feel like I came into my own as an adult.
